I am a researcher of Artificial Intelligence, Language Modeling, Drug Addiction, and Computational Social Science. Currently I am with the National Institutes of Health and the University of Pennsylvania.
I completed my PhD from the University of Illinois, Chicago. My major research interests throughout my PhD, my postdoc, and overall work span an over-arching universe of computational social science and psychological welfare. While language modeling is one of the core pillars of my current research, I tend to view it as a lens to better understand the world around us. I also view language as the first point of observation when viewing the world around us.
Previously, I worked as an Applied Scientist Intern, at Amazon Alexa. I worked on user intent understanding and LLMs for the Natural Language Understanding team with Alexa AI, in Cambridge, MA.
