About Me

I work on integrating generative AI and large language models into existing user-facing pipelines. My areas of expertise and work involve agentic systems with LLMs, scaffolding, increasing user trust and engagement with gen-AI systems, mental health and computational social science.

I finished my PhD and MS in computer science from UIC-CS. My research aims to improve patient health outcomes by working towards collaborative-AI technology. I have worked at multiple places including the National Institutes of Health, the University of Pennsylvania, Scale AI, and more recently at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) .Language modeling stands as a cornerstone of my work, serving as a powerful tool to decode and comprehend the complexities of our world. Beyond my expertise in NLP, AI, and LLMs, I have a profound passion for food. Whether I'm attending a conference or enjoying a vacation, I make it a mission to discover exceptional restaurants. My approach to finding these culinary gems is a blend of trusted recommendations and my own meticulous research. In the Food tab, you'll find a carefully curated list of restaurants from my travels across the U.S. This list is continuously updated, reflecting my latest food adventures. These range from absolute hole-in-the-wall places to restaurants by Michelin Starred Chefs. I stand by each recommendation, and I highly encourage you to explore them all (or at least the ones I've rated).
